The problem
Operations and finance teams were bogged down by manual task-switching between bank portals, billing tools, and CSV sheets just to reconcile a single day's activity. Reconciliation rules lived entirely in individual employees' heads.
The solution
We built a unified command center dashboard that combines user access, real-time inventory tracking, and transaction history into one interconnected, role-aware system.
How we built it
- Mapped daily reconciliation steps to create a dense, low-fatigue layout with quick keyboard actions.
- Constructed a real-time stock velocity chart and key metrics indicators.
- Built a command console integrating invoicing, stock lookups, point of sale, and label printing.
- Configured a granular permissions matrix for secure, role-based module views.
How we made sure it worked
- Tested the interface alongside active finance personnel to observe real-world speed improvements.
- Verified reconciliation workflows were successfully automated in-app.
- Ensured dispute resolutions are tracked directly in the console with a clear history.
Outcome
Daily close compresses into a single flow. Disputes get routed and resolved in-app. Leadership sees one number for cash position instead of three reconciled by hand.
